For the purpose of human resources management, all employees of the University are considered to be grouped in three broad classifications: faculty and administrative officers, exempt staff personnel, and non-exempt staff personnel.

Non-Exempt Staff Personnel - This group consists of those individuals occupying positions covered by the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
