The Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services is responsible for the administrative management of Auxiliary Services and Food Services units. Duties include planning, directing and coordinating these activities which provide goods and Services required to meet the educational objectives of the institution and for the security of students, faculty, staff and visitors at the University of Georgia. The Associate Vice President reports to the Vice President for Finance and Administration.
Auxiliary Services units are established by the President upon recommendation of the Vice President for Finance and Administration, subject to the approval of the Board of Regents. Auxiliary Services units fulfill a variety of needs of students, faculty and staff, and must be operated in a financially self-supporting manner.
Auxiliary Service is authorized to establish services based on the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents policy 7.2.2, “Auxiliary Enterprises Revenues and Expenditures”.
The Finance and Administration Auxiliary Services Division complies with the University of Georgia Business and Finance Records Retention Schedule in accordance with the guidelines adopted by the USG Board of Regents Records Retention Practices.
