    FAQs
    • How are vendors chosen?

Vending contracts are bid and awarded according to all relevant state laws.  The contract has a term of 5 years, with the winning bidder selected by UGA Procurement based on parameters set by Auxiliary Services.

    • How are vending prices set?

Prices are determined by the Auxiliary Services Vending Manager after considering vendor contract prices, competitive market rates, and cost recovery considerations.  Prices are constrained by the contract with the vendor.

    • How are vending machine locations determined?

Vending machines are sited according to foot traffic (measured by building occupancy), or by convenience based on proximity to other vending locations.  Final decision on placing machines rests with the Vending and Solicitation Manager.
