    Policy Statement

    University Bookstore services are provided by contract established by Auxiliary Services.  Auxiliary Services derives its authority to award this contract based on the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents policy 7.2.2.

    Currently, the bookstore contract is serviced by the Follett Corporation.

    1. How are textbook prices determined?
      • Textbook prices are based on the book manufacturer’s prices and are limited by contract with the bookstore operator.
    2. How are store hours determined?
      • The University Bookstore is open 7 days per week.  The store may be opened extra hours for special events such as football games and at the start of each semester.  The University Bookstore website is open 24 hours per day.  Please see the bookstore website for details.  The link for the website may be found in the “Related Information” section of this page.
    3. How do you determine which textbooks are sold?
      • Textbooks are selected by the faculty teaching the course.
